RE: NCPERS 2018 State and Federal Legislation Webcast – Three Credits

DATE: January 23, 2018

As you may know, NCPERS hosted a free live webcast on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, discussing upcoming state and federal legislation that will impact public pension plans. NCPERS Executive Director, Hank Kim, moderated this session with Bailey Childers, the National Public Pension Coalition's Executive Director, and Anthony Roda of Williams & Jensen.

In addition to the many first quarter educational offerings outlined in PERAC Memo # 5 / 2018, this video is also available to retirement board members for credits. Board members can receive three educational credits for viewing the Webcast which can be located by going to the NCPERS web site at http://www.ncpers.org/. Select the videos tab then select "Webcast: 2018 State & Federal Legislation".

In order to receive credit, board members must submit an affidavit attesting to participation through PROSPER.
